Eye-level view of a serene garden space designed for reflection and recovery

When I moved in the house, I was in debt with four major credit cards and had nowhere to go. I was pretty much homeless. While I was in the house, I took a Nutrition class taught by Sharon with OSU Extension. I would attend church with my friend. I was able to save my money at The Chosen House to get my own apartment and purchase a car.

When I moved out, I got a service animal named Chloe Rain and eventually started working at a grocery store and then Project Heart. I decided I needed a break and enrolled in college.

In 2019, I started working for Pioneer Library System as a Library Associate and was still attending college classes.

In December of 2020, I graduated from Seminole State College with my Degree in Liberal Studies. I did purchase another car and was able to pay that off, plus pay off two out of four credit cards, and maintain my own apartment. I also received a certificate from Shawnee Bridges.

I really appreciate Kim and Mari for helping me and coming to check in on me when I moved out of town.
